A journey that started with 20,000 Post office bikes, that took us just over 5 years to collect from every Royal Mail depot up and down the United Kingdom, has finally come to an end. The very last of the Postie bikes are on their way to Malawi Africa, where they will be lovingly restored by our Malawian friends.

Back in 2015 we made the decision to renovate 5,000 of these bikes and re brand them as the Elephant bike to sell them in the UK. Fast forward to March 2023 and we’re down to our very last one! It certainly is the end of an era.

Limited edition & lovingly restored

These bikes have seen it all, from humble beginnings delivering parcels to UK homes to making an appearance on the big screen. And, since each one is entirely unique, the story of our Elephant Bikes is totally one of a kind.

Fuel for change

A cleaner, cheaper, altogether happier way to get around; this is distinctive transport you can rely on. And, with spring on the way there’s never been a better time to choose pedal power.

When you begin your journey, you’ll be giving a fellow cyclist in Malawi the chance to begin their own journey too; providing access to schools, markets and work.
