As well as creating jobs within its own social enterprise, Cycle of Good helps numerous local artisan craft businesses around the local town of Chilomoni, Blantyre.
Local craftsman Emmanuel and his team of 5 create our popular recycled bicycle copper keyring. The eco-friendly recycled keyring is made using soft wires from often abandoned fridges. The bicycle keyring is extra special for us not only because it is a unique gift for a cyclist, but because of how Emmanuel and his team follow the principles of reducing waste by reusing materials to create hand crafted products.
Reduce Reuse Recycle
Eco Friendly Opportunity
Emmanuel’s team of 5 (including himself) is comprised of 3 men and 2 women. They all have a role to play in making this little recycled gift, taking a total of 45 minutes to make from start to finish.
Fairly Traded
This fairly traded recycled gift is sold in the UK through social enterprise Cycle of Good and our network of ethical retailers. All the money we make pays for childcare and non-profit social enterprise in Malawi.
